4 Bedroom House in Horopito

After 20yrs of building and running MJ's Retreat we have decided this year to offer a reduced rate.
Our property is ideally located for the Tongariro Crossing, the Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields, Old Coach Road , Bridge to Nowhere, 42nd Traverse , Whanganui canoe trips, and many other walks and mountain bike rides.
The house is situated on 40 000m2 , half in native bush with a stream and pond/swimming hole. It is private and secure with good views of Mt Ruapehu.

Summary: Beautiful home and amenities/activities. Every room had a spacious bed and each bed had electric blankets (wonderful in the winter!). The home is warm and feels welcoming as soon as you step inside. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. The host is very friendly and had the heaters going for us by the time we got there.
